Please complete both activities:

Activity #1: Imagine if you could become the expert on Financial assistance for college and you could educate others about the topic. By the end of this activity other people will learn the in’s and out’s of paying for college by reading the blog you create. First, you will partner up with someone who has the same number of family members (ex. married, single, children,....etc). You and your partner will need to register with Blogspot, then proceed to create a new blog titled Financial Aid. In this blog you will answer 9 questions in your blog. Also you will search the internet or create your own video to embed in your blog for the questions. They are:

1. What are some questions I should ask about a school’s financial aid program?
2. What are the FAFSA and CSS/PROFILE?
3. Should I fill out both the FAFSA and CSS/PROFILE?
4. What is an EFC and how is it used at different schools?
5. Should I look at the cost of tuition when deciding where to apply?
6. When a school gives their “cost of attendance,” what does that usually entail?
7. What does it mean for a school to be “need-blind” or “need-aware”?
8. What are some unique new financial aid programs various universities have launched?
9. Will it impact a student’s chance for admission if that person asks lots of questions about financial aid?

Your end result will be a blog you have created with nine questions answered in text and videos embedded that correspond to these questions and answers.
